Varied agenda for DPC session

A wide spectrum of applications will be discussed at today’s meeting of the Development and Planning Commission, ranging from changes to Victoria Stadium to an extension for a Wellington Front vault.

The revised plans for Victoria Stadium regarding the extension to the property, changes of  fenestration, the construction of new refuse shelter and an  extension to the external tables and chairs area, will all be discussed at the meeting.

The Governments’ proposal for a two storey vault extension works to Wellington Front will be debated this morning.

Objectors and the applicant for 2 Hospital Ramp will also address the commission.

The application is for a proposed redevelopment of the existing building for the construction of a new block of nine residential apartments on three floors, a new parking garage and the existing ARP shelter to be converted into storage cubicles.

Earlier this year, an application was filed for this property and objectors addressed the commission.

At that time the DPC suggested the developers rethink their proposal and return with amended plans.

A playground located at the Upper North Terrace of King’s Bastion Leisure Centre will be presented to the DPC. It new addition will be an enclosed play area with shoes shelves and parents waiting area.

A request to renew outline planning permission by a year for the proposed floating oil storage vessel, steel barges to separate the storage vessel from the detached mole, piping network on the detached mole and bunkering loading  locations, will be discussed.

As will a request to renew outline planning permission by a year to the proposed development at 43A Devil’s Tower Road.

Outline planning permission was granted for a 40 metres high mixed-use building with 17 new residential units.
