Everton Ladies were unlucky to lose 1-0 against Atletico Madrid Ladies on Wednesday evening, leaving the Madrid girls top of the group in the International Friendly Tournament co-hosted in Gibraltar.
Atletico Madrid ladies provided a spectacle of women’s football at the Victoria Stadium on Tuesday in what was to be their first match of the tournament. Dominating the match from the start against Los Angeles Salsa SC who had already been beaten 6-0 by Everton the previous evening.
